Eilean Donan Castle
Scotland

Well we couldn't come to Scotland and not take an iconic picture of this castle, so here we were at dusk, hoping for a spectacular sunset but all we got was a blue twilight and incredibly still waters. I wasn't complaining!

If I had got my feet wet in the loch to the right of frame I might have improved the composition but as it was I didn't feel like having to dry my socks and boots, so this what I captured. Hopefully it's a different take from the usual E.D. Castle shots.

Absolutely beautiful photo and color! I'm interested to see what it would look like with the castle reflected in the small pool in the foreground. Although maybe the size of it isn't large enough to encompass the entire castle. Keep up the beautiful work!
